I’m back and better than ever!

Hello worlds!

Been awhile hasn’t it?

Well, you will all be glad to hear that I am back and better than ever. I may have been idle here in The Dark Library, but that has not been so out in the worlds. I’ve been working pretty hard the last several months especially to get things ready for 2020.

Over 200 new, unedited, prompt shorts will be arriving here. The plan is for one a week to make its way to the shelves. A new layout for The Library as well since it’s been some time since the shelves have been deep cleaned so keep your eyes peeled.

Please not literally though. I can never get the stains out.

For now though, be assured that I am continuing my work to chronicle the many exploits that have been relayed to me by various and sultry.

I mean sundry. ^_^’

I will tell ya’ll that as of an hour ago I have a total of 9,226 words written in the first two days of NaNoWriMo. Only 40,774 to go to claim another win, though I’m not sure how many left to the end of the story.

Those of you wondering, it’s a Beauty and the Beast retelling like you’ve never read. The ones who told me about this world were a part of it a long time ago. This particular story happened awhile ago, but I liked it too much to pass it up.

It’s late for me so I’ll log off.

Don’t forget that if you ever need a place to rest and recover from what’s going on out there in the worlds, The Dark Library is always open.

Party in NOLA!

Yay!!

Everything has worked out so that I can go to the party for Feverborn!

Five whole days to do nothing but be surrounded by fabulous people who can talk Fever series to/with me.

I am really looking forward to this getaway because I need to recharge. Work things have been getting to me despite my best efforts and this party is just what I need.

Till next time, happy reading!

Feverborn NOLA party!

Yay! I finally got all of my plans set for Karen Marie Moning’s release party for book 8 in her ‘Fever’ series!!

…then I find out that a mandatory school meeting has been moved to the same weekend.

Head + desk.

Hopefully they will let me do FaceTime or Skype or something because, speaking from previous experience, Moning has awesome parties for her book releases!

Also, this particular party is a combined birthday party from my family and I won a VIP ticket to a reception with other VIP’s and Moning herself!

Last day of 2015!

Being the last day of 2015 I didn’t want to leave the blog empty, so here I am again!

Did you miss me? 😉

This year a lot happened. Some good, some bad, some headache inducing and some that just left us all ‘meh’.

For me, I got good grades in school (I’m in my last year before transfering to a 4yr. Woot!), had to use so much of my savings for emergency situations that crept up its scary, wrote a short story, and finished my Goodreads challenge(thought it was a close thing).

Next year I’m planning to start my own shop on Etsy, attend the Feverborn party in NOLA, and have a blast in Ireland when I go for study abroad. (Amongst other things, of course).

I hope and pray that whatever plans everyone else has that they are successful!

All the best in the new year peeps!

Oh, boy…

I have just emailed my submission for the ‘Write your way to RT’ contest and I’m not sure if I’m really excited or just nervous.

This is the 3rd year that Best Selling author Jennifer Armentrout has done the contest, but it’s the first year I’ve heard of it (and obviously the first year I’ve submitted).

It’s a really epic contest because the 1st place winner gets to go to the Romantic Times Booklover Convention (or RT for short) for free!

Jennifer Armentrout pays for a flight (if needed), the hotel and the registration fee to attend. The total can be anywhere from $2,000-$3,000 and it’s all out of pocket for her!

Also, (as if that wasn’t cool enough) the 2nd and 3rd place winners get a box full of books!!

That’s all I’ve got for now, except ‘good luck’ to everyone who is participating this year in the contest!!
