Chocolate frogs!

Story time- I got a Harry Potter Honeydukes set for Christmas, but it ended up being for the gummy snakes.

I do not like snakes.

Not wanting to repeat that I did something not quite in the spirit of the blind spheres.

There’s a cheat to these that tell you what item is in which sphere. I really only wanted the frogs and the feathers for the molds so I tried the cheat sheet (that always has the caveat it may not be 100% accurate).

It worked.

Not sure if it works for all of them, but I got the ones I wanted.

I like Harry Potter (books are better than the movies but the movies are always entertaining!) but not quite enough to need the entire set. Especially when they have skulls and slugs, etc…

Onto the actual crafty!

You will note I have an open bottle of Hershey syrup from another set and two other bottles on standby.

MiniVerse gives you a lot more than you need so you always have leftovers (which I love!), but that means I have a good collection of opened resin bottles.

In an effort to keep things clean and manageable, I’ve started using a similar color from an already opened bottle.

For this, they’re chocolate frogs so any brown color would actually do. I now have depleted an open bottle of resin and have an unopened (that isn’t sticky) to set aside for something later!

Also, the tiny frogs have a delightful amount of detail from the mold!

And yes, I fully intend to make green frogs too.
